About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at Aroma Optical Ltd. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our company's finances effectively.
  • Order merchandise and manage our inventory to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our sales team is working efficiently.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure we have the right products in stock.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team to ensure they are working effectively.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or retail environment.
  • Ability to recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
