We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our team at Magna International Inc. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies for on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
Your Responsibilities- Collaborate with business users to develop complex web applications using PHP, Laravel framework, and other relevant technologies.
- Work with other developers to migrate legacy applications to current technologies, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to existing systems.
- Participate in code review and perform extensive testing to ensure high-quality software, meeting the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance.
- Perform other assigned duties as required, contributing to the growth and success of our software development team.
- Recognized post-secondary degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Able to communicate in English effectively, with strong presentation and demonstration skills.
- Keen eye for UX/UI details to create visually appealing applications that are elegant and easy to navigate.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience creating large-scale, complex web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong expertise in PHP, with proven experience in Laravel framework.
- Experience writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries, Eloquent ORM.
- Strong understanding of REST and backend communication through API calls.
- Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including.NET Core 6+, is an asset.
- Experience with implementing SSO authentication mechanisms such as SAML and OAuth.
