About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team at Terrabyte IT Consulting Ltd. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and test software applications using various programming languages and technologies.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and reports.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and quality assurance specialists.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to newcomers and refugees, as well as Indigenous people and visible minorities, to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, such as computer science or software engineering.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of programming languages, software development methodologies, and technical communication.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
