Job Title: Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Room Attendant to join our team at Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort Cranbrook. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Work Environment:

As a Room Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role that involves bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, values, and ethics.
Work Term and Hours:

This is a seasonal position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
