Are you a seasoned architect looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for designing cutting-edge FPGA systems? We're seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Architect to join our team at Microchip Technology, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of architects in designing and developing current and future FPGA families
  • Champion system-level requirements and drive customer use case definition and internal system modeling efforts
  • Drive team to decompose use cases and create technical requirements for design
  • Ensure requirements are captured in architecture specs, behavioral models, RTL, SW/FW
  • Architect future product features and ensure system-level requirements are clear and met in implementation

Requirements:

  • Hands-on technical experience with FPGA and/or ASIC/SoC system architectures
  • BSEE or MS in a related field with 15+ years of industry experience or similar technical degree
  • Detailed understanding of implementation, tradeoffs, and usage of system interface blocks such as high-speed serial transceivers, associated protocol IP, and high-performance parallel interfaces
  • Leadership and management experience, including experience leading mixed teams of HW and SW designers

Pay Range: $170,000 - $295,000
