Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team at pt Health. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients with musculoskeletal injuries and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans using evidence-based practices and clinical reasoning
- Utilize electronic charting software to document patient information and treatment sessions
- Delegate treatment to Registered Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants as needed
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Supervise Physiotherapy students as preferred
- Communicate with external stakeholders and client referral sources
- Manage a fast-paced caseload and prioritize patient care
Requirements:
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists
- 1-2+ years' experience treating clients in an outpatient setting (strong asset)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with others
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
