Brandt is seeking a dedicated International Sales and Remarketing Specialist to join our team at the Mississauga Construction & Forestry division. This role will be under the supervision of the VP of Operations - Ontario.

This full-time, permanent position focuses on the remarketing of pre-owned heavy machinery in various markets, including Northern Alberta, the United States, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing and expanding the sales of used equipment beyond Brandt's designated Deere territory as established by the organization.
  • Identifying and sourcing pre-owned equipment.
  • Offering insights to stakeholders regarding the valuation of used machinery.
  • Protecting company assets in accordance with established policies.
  • Executing additional tasks as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Candidates must possess a valid passport and be capable of working and traveling in the United States and Europe; this role necessitates up to 50% travel time (1-2 weeks per month).
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in the heavy equipment sector; 10+ years is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in international sales and procurement, with substantial expertise in global sourcing, negotiation, and transaction closure preferred.
  • Sales experience in the Central, Eastern, and Southern US regions is advantageous.
  • Experience in the mining sector is a plus.
  • Relevant post-secondary education is considered beneficial.
