Job Summary

The Tunnel Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating equipment to support tunnel logistics and other tunneling activities. This includes operating MSVs, erectors, power shovels, and scrapers to excavate tunnel headings, move materials, and perform other duties as required.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary School or equivalent, with practical training and working knowledge of English.
  • Experience: 2-3 years' experience in heavy tunnel equipment operation, construction industry experience, and operating machinery to remove earth materials.
Working Conditions

The primary work location is at 1 Holt Road South, Bowmanville, Ontario, L1C 3Z8, with work and travel required throughout Ontario. Project, training, and business-related travel may be required. Exposure to construction work site environment in all seasons.
