IT Specialist

Cegep de Victoriaville is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Specialist - Information Resource Management to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our information systems.

As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Project Coordination and Analysis: You will assess complex program and project requests, collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, and provide expert advice on technological solutions.
• Resource Management: You will identify future resource requirements to maintain network and service development capacity, ensuring our systems are equipped for evolving demands.
• System Optimization and Evaluation: You will continuously evaluate the performance of our information resources, recommending restructuring or proposing new solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implementation and Support: You will actively participate in the development and implementation of project portfolios, including trials and proof of concepts. This involves planning solution implementation, ensuring quality control, and providing ongoing support.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: You will play a key role in implementing organizational measures related to cybersecurity, safeguarding our valuable data and systems.
