About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to join our team at Zainab Arif. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in childcare.
  • Work Setting: You will be working in the employer's home, providing care and support to children in a safe and healthy environment.
  • Tasks: Your responsibilities will include:
    • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home environment.
    • Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development, promoting their emotional well-being and self-esteem.
    • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home, ensuring the children's physical and emotional needs are met.
    • Organizing activities such as games, outings, and educational programs to stimulate the children's cognitive and social development.
    • Transporting children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

  • Flexibility: You will need to be flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organized: You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home environment, ensuring the children's needs are met and the home is safe and healthy.
  • Reliability: You will need to be reliable and trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Patience: You will need to be patient and understanding, able to manage challenging behaviors and provide emotional support to the children.
  • Honesty: You will need to be honest and transparent, able to maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the children and their family.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the home, and you will need to be proficient in English to communicate effectively with the children and their family.
  • Hours: You will be working 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for flexibility and work-life balance.
