Our client is a reputable, independently owned and operated insurance brokerage with a strong presence in the Fraser Valley area. With a history spanning nearly 40 years, they have established themselves as a trusted provider of Auto, Personal Lines, and Commercial Lines insurance solutions.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Broker to join our growing Abbotsford team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum Level 1 license and previous training on ICBC's new Policy Center, with a strong background in personal lines insurance. Preference will be given to applicants with greater than 2 years' of experience, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold a Level 1 General Insurance License
- Have a minimum of 1 year of insurance experience
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service to potential and existing clients
- Be flexible with working hours, including occasional weekend shifts
- Previous experience in Personal Lines Insurance is an asset
- Proficient in using Microsoft Windows PCs
- Experience working with EPIC Systems is a plus
- Strong English language skills, both verbal and written
- Multi-lingual skills are an asset
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Desire to continuously learn and grow
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks
