About the Role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in fostering the career growth of your team members, facilitating hiring and training, and enhancing customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers at the front counter.
  • Manage administrative duties, including payables, cash reports, and inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve problems and achieve goals.
  • Take on various roles throughout the day, including sales and service expertise, mentoring, and planning and executing goals.
  • Assist with managing Kal Tire assets and cash flow under company standards and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement strategies and plans, and ensure completion of supporting activities to deliver expected outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in managerial or supervisory roles.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and some management training.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. as needed.
  • Foster a culture of positivity and growth where everyone feels encouraged to thrive.
  • Drive engagement by building meaningful connections with customers and providing personalized experiences.
  • Motivate and develop team members in a respectful work environment.
  • Prioritize safety by actively encouraging team members to wear required PPE and follow work protocols.
