About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at AUTOLINX EXPRESS INC. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality metal fabrication.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines, brazing machines, and spot welding machines.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to fabricate metal parts and products.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. The ideal candidate will have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a commercial setting with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
