We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team at Ucanpay, a leading fintech company. As a key member of our development team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative payment products that make a real impact on Canadians' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient Java backend systems using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Work closely with geographically distributed teams to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud-native technologies and trends, and contribute to the development of new features and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java backend development, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies.
  • Proven experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
