Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Specialist to provide nurturing and supportive care for children in a home environment. This role involves ensuring the well-being and safety of children while managing household responsibilities in the absence of parents.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in child care is considered an asset.
Work Environment

The position offers optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis, although this is not a condition of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household during the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy atmosphere for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to children's needs.
  • Supervise and provide care for children, addressing their emotional well-being.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments as needed.
Certifications
  • CPR Certificate is required.
  • First Aid Certificate is required.
Target Audience

This role focuses on children in the school age and kindergarten age groups.

Security and Safety

A criminal record check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
