As a Nutritional Consultant, you will be instrumental in delivering dietary advice and support to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on the latest research by participating in dietary workshops, seminars, and educational events.
- Evaluate the physical health, medical directives, and emotional needs of clients to ensure optimal nutritional standards.
- Investigate advancements in the field of long-term care related to dietary needs and nutrition.
- Implement dietary strategies with a focus on sustaining or enhancing a client's quality of life.
- Regularly assess clients for any changes in their physical capabilities and future care requirements.
- Analyze the effectiveness of dietary plans based on client progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Engage in care planning discussions with clients' families to ensure their involvement in necessary dietary programs.
- Document all dietary progress, including counseling sessions and dietary instructions.
- Evaluate the necessity for new feeding techniques.
- Provide education and guidance to the food services team regarding dietary therapy and nutritional needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Foods and Nutrition or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must hold registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Exceptional ability to manage high-pressure or emotionally charged situations.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and the ability to make effective decisions.
