Position Overview

As an Early Childhood Care Provider at Bee Hive Child Care Centre, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This permanent position involves a commitment of 40 hours per week and requires proficiency in English.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist colleagues with daily housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of daycare equipment.
  • Engage children through storytelling and creative activities.
  • Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that enhance children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead engaging activities, including storytelling, singing, and organizing outings to local attractions.
  • Encourage children's creativity through various mediums such as art, music, and physical play.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange spaces for meals and rest periods.
  • Document observations of children's progress and share insights with educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's development and any concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and supportive environment for children.
  • Organize activities for school-age children during before and after school hours.
