About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Professional to join our team at Goldberg Professional Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs), up to 23 kg (50 lbs), up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and between 45 and 60 kg (lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
