We are a reputable barbershop seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hair Stylist Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting our experienced barbers in delivering top-notch haircuts and styling services.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience in our barbershop.
- Assist Barbers: Support our experienced barbers in preparing for appointments, shampooing and cutting hair, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Reception Duties: Manage appointments, answer phone calls, and handle customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supply Management: Order and maintain an adequate supply of hair care products and equipment, ensuring our barbers have everything they need to deliver exceptional services.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, providing guidance and support in their transition to our industry.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the hair industry.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required
- Work Setting: Our barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 hours per week
