Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Portfolio Manager to join our team at ADAMA Agricultural Solutions Canada Ltd. This role will be responsible for managing registration activities and dossiers for active ingredients and end-use products assets in our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage registration activities and dossiers for active ingredients and end-use products assets in the ADAMA Canada portfolio.
  • Provide direction for the leadership team on regulatory matters.
  • Serve as the primary regulatory contact for AAFC PMC minor use research programs and URMULE.
  • Perform registration activities as per Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) requirements.
  • Work with external consultants and internal subject matter experts to generate product specification forms, waivers, and position papers as needed.
  • Communicate registration strategies and timelines, requirements, and registration cost estimates with Development and Strategy teams.
  • Work closely with Operations, Business Development, Quality, and Procurement teams to perform regulatory actions or address regulatory requirements.
  • Manage storage of registration information, including data, studies, waivers, master and specimen labels, SPSFs, and SDS in MARS, SELEYA, and other secure databases.
  • Liaise with ADAMA Global stakeholders and respond to information requests as needed.
  • Support ADAMA NA business by providing regulatory inputs following review of supply and access agreements.
  • Provide feedback and guidance on advertising/promotional communications according to registered labels and PMRA policy.
  • Maintain existing registrations for active ingredients and associated end-use products, including product renewals, notifiable label changes, etc.
  • Ensure product and organization compliance with regards to PMRA Sales and Incident Reporting, label, and SDS accuracy.
  • Work with the Finance team for preparation of Annual Regulatory Charge Fee Reduction Request and Sales Data Reporting.
  • Manage designated budgets for use with outside consultants and labs and ensure proper agreements are in place.
  • Act as the ADAMA regulatory representative at CropLife Canada events and/or committees, providing detailed information to the business on any developments and proposing and agreeing on strategies to reduce any associated business risk.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a B.Sc. in chemical or biological sciences, agriculture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Crop Protection and/or Agriculture Industry.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Pest Control Product Act, regulations, and policies is preferred.
  • Experience with the PMRA is preferred.
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Fluency in French is preferred.
