Job Title: School Psychologist

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to fill the position of School Psychologist with School District #57 (Prince George).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, staff, and parents in a school setting. This includes assessing and addressing the social, emotional, and academic needs of students, as well as providing support and guidance to teachers and other school staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students, individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support students' learning and well-being
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the educational process
Requirements:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students, staff, and parents in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
