Job Summary:

We are seeking a Nursing Student to join our team at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre. As a Nursing Student, you will assist in all aspects of the personal care of our residents, providing a high level of support and care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the personal care of residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mealtime and snacks
  • Participate in activities and programs designed to promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure resident needs are met

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Baccalaureate Nursing Program or Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Successful completion of courses covering body mechanics, personal care, and special treatments
  • Current certification in CPR/First Aid
  • Completed an applicable clinical placement
  • Valid criminal record check and vulnerable record check
