We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, performing daily inspections on equipment, and participating in daily toolbox meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform daily inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any potential issues.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share knowledge, and address any concerns.
- Work in a team-based environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Move heavy equipment and materials, utilizing proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain yard organization, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
- Pick jobs as requested by supervisors, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Receive and verify all incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Complete maintenance tasks as per the maintenance plan, ensuring equipment is in good working condition.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy yard environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
Requirements
- Experience with rough terrain forklifts, unloading, and loading 50' lengths of pipe.
- Experience in overhead crane operation is considered an asset.
- Ability to drive a 1-ton truck and 30' gooseneck trailer is considered an asset.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
