Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Boat Carpenter to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
  • Shape and assemble materials using various woodworking techniques
  • Join materials using adhesives, fasteners, or other methods
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and dusty environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a marine construction environment, with a focus on building high-quality yachts. The work site will be a combination of construction sites and millwork/pre-fab shopwork.
