Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications in various settings, including patients' homes and specialized clinics.
- Monitor and assess patients before and after injection or infusion treatments as per established protocols.
- Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with organizational policies and nursing standards.
- Educate patients and caregivers about treatment protocols and medication usage, both individually and in group settings.
- Report any adverse events or product complaints in line with company training and policies.
- Maintain consistent availability to meet the operational needs of the organization.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and physicians, to ensure timely scheduling of appointments and treatments.
- Communicate with patients and caregivers to arrange appointments and medication delivery.
- Participate in regular training sessions and meetings to uphold professional standards.
- Engage in specialized training as required by client needs.
- Adhere to nursing standards as prescribed by professional associations.
- Work collaboratively within a healthcare team, delegating tasks to other nursing personnel as authorized.
- Travel as necessary to fulfill operational requirements.
- Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures.
- Comply with health and safety regulations as mandated.
- Complete ongoing education and training as outlined in the training matrix.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- May be required to be on standby to meet service demands.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with relevant experience.
- Minimum of one year of IV initiation experience.
- Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
- Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings is preferred.
- Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and experience with central venous lines are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong customer service skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Able to work independently while being part of a larger team.
- Willingness to travel within designated areas for patient care.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and insurance coverage required.
