Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at APOTHECARY. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities- PM Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement effective PM plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize downtime.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with production, FD, R&D, and other stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Material Management: Ensure timely availability of materials required for PM activities through effective relationships with Central Stores personnel.
- Plan Review and Communication: Review proposed plans with supervisors and communicate them to affected groups and other planners to ensure full alignment with business objectives.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Maintain documented visibility of PM planning system performance metrics, including overall team performance, backlog, completion rates, excursions, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement.
- Task List Evolution: Collaborate with Reliability Engineering, Deviation Investigators, and other Subject Matter Experts to improve the overall reliability of systems and equipment.
- Total Life-cycle Management: Participate in the development of Total Life-cycle Management for all assets, including recommendations for replacement or retirement based on data maintained by Reliability, Investigations, and Subject Matter Experts.
- Professional Development: Ensure own professional development in cooperation and consultation with Management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Production Planning, Supply Chain, and New Product Launch teams to maintain a broad perspective of approaching challenges related to equipment reliability.
- Technology Recommendations: Recommend improvements to technology to enhance compliance and effectiveness, including cost savings.
- Project Support: Act as a back-up to Project Leader, Reliability, and work as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Perform all work in accordance with established regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Education: College Diploma in Engineering Discipline, Tradesperson, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communications skills, previous experience with SAP software PM Module, and working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
