Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Lake Country Office Solutions Inc. as a permanent full-time employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating access and use of computer networks, installing software, and maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Software Installation: Install software and hardware, including web server hardware and software, to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Network Maintenance: Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Network Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
