Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Truck and Coach Technician to join our team in Northern Ontario. As a key member of our Ready Mix Operations, you will be responsible for performing inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on our fleet of trucks and coaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and coaches
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Manage work orders and track maintenance schedules
  • Collaborate with operational management to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules
  • Perform emergency repairs and respond to breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate records of services and work performed
Requirements
  • Valid Truck and Coach (T) License
  • Valid DZ Drivers License with a clean abstract (asset)
  • Own hand tools and tool box
  • Ready mix experience with London and McNelius mixers (asset)
  • Welding and hydraulic systems experience (asset)
  • Experience with Theam/Ready mix concrete conveyors (asset)
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Fleet experience preferred
  • Computer knowledge utilizing email and Microsoft Excel (asset)
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs & ladders, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and smell
  • Occasionally required to work in awkward situations, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
Working Conditions

Employee must perform work outdoors in all weather conditions and will work around moving mechanical parts and equipment. Various PPE will include safety boots, reflective clothing, safety glasses, gloves, and hard hat. Additional PPE may be required depending on tasks.
