The Canadian Health Care Agency is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Travel Nurse Team. As a valued member of our team, you will provide culturally safe care for Indigenous patients and families in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated areas across Northern BC.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver primary care and public health services to Indigenous patients and families
- Work collaboratively with community health teams to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive care plans to meet the unique needs of Indigenous patients
- Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body
- Experience working with Indigenous patients and families in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
