Position Overview

The Senior Associate in Private Banking plays a crucial role in supporting Private Banking Advisor teams. This position is centered around delivering outstanding service to clients by addressing their banking needs and inquiries. Additionally, the Senior Associate will have defined sales objectives and will actively promote CIBC's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Service: Welcome clients arriving for meetings and connect them with the appropriate staff. Respond to client inquiries promptly while ensuring confidentiality and maintaining an organized service area. Follow up to guarantee client satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Sales: Analyze client portfolios and financial requirements holistically. Identify opportunities to enhance the client’s experience with CIBC’s offerings. Conduct regular meetings with clients to review portfolios and introduce new solutions.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Private Banking team with marketing initiatives and client events. Ensure all marketing materials are up-to-date and manage various administrative tasks related to account maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and business writing skills.
  • Strong client service focus and attention to detail.
  • Current accreditation in good standing (Canadian Securities Course).
  • Advanced knowledge of loans, mortgages, and investment products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with banking systems.
  • Fluency in both French and English to effectively serve clients.
