Role Overview: The Director of Contract Management is tasked with leading a team of professionals dedicated to reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and interpreting contract terms to secure optimal conditions for Andritz, mitigate project risks, and uphold our contractual rights.
We seek a seasoned leader with extensive experience in EPC capital projects. Responsibilities include:
- Actively participate and guide a team of Contract Managers in proposal preparation (contract revisions, internal approvals, expert consultations, etc.) and customer contract negotiations;
- Provide contractual guidance to the proposal team and Contract Managers regarding escalated risks and commercial issues during the tendering and negotiation phases;
- Support and lead proposal teams during negotiations with clients on significant projects;
Project Execution Responsibilities:
- Oversee contract management processes across business segments;
- Offer expertise in contract interpretation and guidance to project teams managing contract deviations (change orders, claims, amendments, etc.);
- Assist project teams and lead negotiations on major claims and change orders as necessary;
- Prepare departmental resource planning;
- Conduct performance evaluations for all team members;
- Collaborate with HR on all personnel matters (recruitment, employee departures, compensation, retention, career development, etc.);
- Lead, train, and develop the contract management team in partnership with HR;

Qualifications:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in contract administration;
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex supply and purchase agreements within project environments;
- Advanced knowledge of business law, including commercial and contract principles;
- Experience in the hydroelectric or construction sectors is advantageous;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
