About the Role

Pattison Agriculture Limited is seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our farm equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring that all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports and documentation.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and functionality.
  • Attachment and Maintenance: Attach components and adjust new farm equipment, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubrication.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Service attachments and working tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess necessary tools and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
