Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the Co-Pilot is tasked with supporting the captain in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and maintaining effective communication with flight crew and ground personnel.

  • Execute flights in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and Company Operations Manual.
  • Perform pre-flight calculations.
  • Operate various fleet types, including ATR 42 and ATR 72.

Work Schedule

  • Consistent schedule with pairings ranging from 1 to 6 days, with a minimum of 80 credits and overtime commencing at 85 credits.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Commercial Pilot License.
  • Multi-IFR certification.
  • Category One medical certification.
  • Completion of ATPL exams or successful IATRA written exam.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a crew.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to manage challenging situations.
  • Willingness to travel and possession of a valid Canadian Passport.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a restricted area pass.
  • Compliance with all Transport Canada Security Clearance Regulations.
  • Proficiency in Inuktitut is considered an asset.
  • Preference will be given to beneficiaries of Inuit Land Claims.
