About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Assistant to join our team at AAA Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for assisting our plumbers in various tasks related to plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist plumbers in measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required shape and size.
  • Help in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Participate in cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants, removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Assist in joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Help in testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.
