About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Team Lead to join our team at Lucky Sunridge Limited Partnership. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for leading a team of bakers and ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 bakers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Production Planning: Plan and coordinate the production of baked goods, including preparing dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet established standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all products are of high quality and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines, work under pressure.
