We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Lakeview Inn & Suites. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Remote location, hotel, motel, resort.
Personal Suitability:
  • Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Honesty: Integrity and trustworthiness in handling guest belongings and confidential information.
Language:

English is the primary language spoken in this role.

Work Term:

Permanent position.

Hours:

40 hours per week.
