Key Duties:

Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer:

  • Ensure that the property consistently meets guest expectations
  • Identify and address maintenance challenges
  • Respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on various hotel systems
  • Perform regular inspections and document any findings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
  • Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

What We Seek:

  • A technical background in facility maintenance
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • A collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and their operations
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience in pool maintenance is a plus
  • A capacity to excel in a fast-paced setting
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required
