Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare, package, and restock goods, ensuring that all inventory is accurately accounted for and properly stored.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, taking care to ensure that all items are properly secured and protected during transport.
  • Navigation and Record-Keeping: Use maps and other trip planning aids to navigate routes efficiently, and record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues that may arise.
  • Financial Transactions: Process payments for goods, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence, permitting the operation of cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Work Term: Be available to work on a permanent basis, with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: Be fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
