Job Summary

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our Lloydminster location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality work with minimal supervision, overseeing the work of apprentices assigned to you.
  • Adjust equipment, repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Install new or replacement parts according to specifications.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure work meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations.
  • Ensure completion of all repairs, maintenance requirements, and/or modifications to trucks or other assigned vehicles.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology and attend training as it becomes available.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High school diploma.
  • A Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician with heavy truck experience.
  • Preferred Heavy Duty Truck dealership experience.
  • Experience in Dyno operation/troubleshooting and Cummins training would be an asset.
