Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter Apprentice to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a Gas Fitter Apprentice, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining gas heating units and their components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Service: Install gas heating units and their components, and service them to ensure optimal performance.
  • Apprenticeship Training: Complete Level four apprenticeship training to develop your skills and knowledge in gas fitting.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B, and ensure you have the necessary certifications and licenses to perform your duties.
  • Transportation and Safety: Possess a valid driver's license, and undergo a driver's validity license check and a criminal record check.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and be physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Have completed other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Personal Qualities: Be accurate, client-focused, dependable, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as judgement and a positive attitude.
