Job Title: Tire Changer

We are seeking a skilled Tire Changer to join our team at Alaska Highway Rescue Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for changing tires, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the safe operation of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Change tires and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed
  • Provide on-site services and repair and balance tires
  • Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment
  • Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators
  • Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically demanding conditions
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking, dusty, and noisy environment with confined spaces.
