Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Supervise and guide Personal Support Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care standards.
  • Act as a clinical resource, providing expertise and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Qualifications
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Successful completion of a Post-Secondary Nursing Program.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) training is an asset.
  • Conflict management skills training is an asset.
  • PIECES training is an asset.
  • Finnish language skills are considered an asset.
  • An acceptable Police Vulnerable Sector Check verified within the past six months.
  • 2-step TB test within the past six months.
