We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Greenlight Innovation for a temporary 6-month term. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing electro-mechanical components, compression fittings, and threaded fittings for our custom designed fuel cell test equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install electro-mechanical components, including pumps, heaters, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical components.
- Assemble compression fittings and threaded fittings for fuel cell test equipment.
- Build and repair mechanical aspects of test stations, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Conduct leak and pressure tests, checking for errors and ensuring safe operation.
- Prepare equipment for shipment, adhering to quality control standards.
- Perform other duties as required to support the team.
Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on mechanical assembly and testing.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management, prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience with tubing and pipefitting, compression fittings, and working with pressurized gases and fluids is an asset.
- Assembly of automation equipment, electrical and electromechanical subassemblies, or electrical panel building experience is also an asset.
