Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at KRUNAL PATEL APOTHECARY LTD.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to our pharmacists and pharmacy team. This includes ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, and preparing medications for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescription Accuracy: Ensure that prescription information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare medications for clients, including compounding oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
  • Client Support: Provide support to clients, including entering client information into databases and recording vital signs.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Assist pharmacists with scheduling and workflow, including maintaining prescription records and billing third-party insurers.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
