Key Responsibilities

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Directing and managing daily operations on the construction site.
  • Upholding the Bockstael brand through professional interactions with clients, employees, and partners.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and compliance on-site.
  • Coordinating project schedules and evaluating workforce needs.
  • Collaborating with project managers, consultants, and trade contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitoring project timelines and implementing corrective measures to meet deadlines.
  • Utilizing the Lean Last Planner System for effective project management.
  • Ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications during construction.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within the region.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Journeyperson Electrician certification, Gold Seal Certification, CET certification, or relevant engineering education.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects exceeding $10 million in value.
  • A minimum of five years in the construction industry, leading teams across multiple trades, particularly in ICI sectors and multifamily projects.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and innovative management skills to enhance team performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
