Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Insights Analyst Co-op to join our team. As a Market Insights Analyst Co-op, you will work closely with our Research Manager to provide support and insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Research Manager to provide support and insights to drive business decisions
  • Program surveys and collect and analyze results using Qualtrics
  • Assist with creating research reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • Conduct desk research to provide in-depth understanding of market conditions and opportunities
  • Present findings to stakeholders and in team meetings with the larger Marketing organization for QuickBooks Canada
  • Participate actively in team events, both on and offsite

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
  • Graduation date of no earlier than 4 months after the internship/co-op concludes
  • Not require sponsorship to work within the role now or in the future
  • Available to work 2-3 days per week in our Toronto office

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree or postgraduate program in a related field
  • Highly detail-oriented and pays close attention to the specifics of problems, questions, and projects
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, great attitude, and go-getter spirit
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical experience, with the ability to develop and understand strategy
  • Passion for storytelling with data to inform decisions
  • Knowledge of research methodology, techniques, and analysis is an asset
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and relevant software applications is an asset
  • Applied experience writing queries, scripts, and stored procedures (e.g., SQL, Python) is an asset
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an asset
