About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Cyber Security Intelligence, Analytics and Monitoring to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our Cyber Security Intelligence, Analytics and Monitoring teams to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Cyber Security Intelligence, Analytics and Monitoring strategies and policies.
  • Oversee the management of our Cyber Security Operations, including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate with our technology and security teams to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including our executive leadership, technology partners, and security vendors.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to our teams to ensure the effective implementation of our Cyber Security strategies and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Cyber Security and ensure our teams are equipped to respond to new threats and challenges.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computing Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in information security management roles, with a focus on Cyber Security Intelligence, Analytics and Monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate, negotiate, and persuade others.
  • Ability to respond to vested parties' needs, supported by an acute awareness of actions' impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve with a global perspective, incorporating the organization's systems and strategies when developing viable solutions to problems.
  • Hold a valid CISSP, CISM or similar certification.
  • Results-oriented with highly developed leadership skills, including the ability to supervise, lead and mentor staff.
  • Ability to establish courses of action for self and others that are results-oriented.
  • Commitment to the value of continuous learning.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to manage a technically complex and fast-changing environment.
