Drafting Technician

We are seeking a skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Simplex Home Design Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Develop and prepare design sketches and technical illustrations to communicate ideas and concepts.
- Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, taking into account factors such as labor, equipment, and materials.
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure designs meet their needs.
- 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in drafting or design.
- Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
