We are seeking a skilled Granite Cutter to join our team at Granite & Marble Ltd. as a Stone Fabrication Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Operate high-precision blade or wire saws to cut blocks of granite to specified dimensions, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on products to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of granite blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shapes or designs, producing a smooth finish.
- Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of granite according to specifications, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with our team of experienced stone fabricators to achieve common goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight handling, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
- Availability to work 30 hours per week, with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
- English language proficiency, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
