About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Associate to join our team at COBS Bread Bakery Leaside. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread and pastry products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Baking: Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality baked goods.
  • Decorating: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Maintenance: Organize and maintain inventory, and operate machinery as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
